Gothmog -Lord of the Balrogs / MIDDLE EARTH / CDC January 2021

For the Middle Earth Character Design Challenge on Facebook, I decided to pick a character from the book the Silmarillion :
Gothmog the lord of the Balrogs and lieutenant of Morgoth.
I thought it would be interesting to portray him as a terrific and powerful Balrog but more subtle than an average Balrog.
He is confident, arrogant and seductive. He is known to have a Black axe, it is brought to him before the Battle by Mountains Trolls.
As powerful as Sauron at that time,I wanted to give him this seductive feeling that Sauron has with his ring.
That was an experiment where I tried to apply what I saw on the Domestika course done by Samuel Smith.
