Once there were Birds...

(done in december 2018 )
-I started a sketch the day the IPCC (Le GIEC) published their latest report (If I remember, in october).
No real goal, I wanted to picture for myself what could be a lifeless nature, a future in a dead world ( it sounds really depressing already). There wasn't story or characters, just a dead landscape, I thought it was a pointless sketch that didn't need to be shown.
I didn't touch this sketch for weeks, then decided to finish it, adding a story, try to give an interest and a point to this painting(while working on the scheme and characters). not sure if it is really readable, but I tried -It' s a very important topic for me. I realised that our generation will probably see the end, not only of the wild species, but even the more common birds and animals, we're already in and we don't clearly realise (I don't clearly realise...)
this is not a pessimistic statement, It convinced me to fight and not being depressed by the catastrophic news ahah
